Good Night and Good Luck

I agree with Murrow completely. He states how television is very influential in America when used correctly and even incorrectly.

Based on his speech, I think Murrow would disagree entirely with television today because tv is no longer about the information but about viewer entertainment. Yes, having entertainment television is a crucial necessity in America today but it is slowly corrupting our generations.

Technology is a crazy thing and is never stopping. In Murrow’s time the transition from radio to television gave many opportunities to sponsors and viewers. No longer would they have to rely on the listener to imagine the words they speak but they can now illustrate the unseen.

Today, technology has revolutionized the American living. Almost everyone owns some type of electronic but even with all this knowledge on how to work and build the device, it seems to not improve the flow of information and education.

{as Murrow would say}: "Good Night and Good Luck"

To Kill Goody Proctor

"You did, you did! You drank a charm to kill John Proctor's wife! You drank a charm to kill Goody Proctor!" pg.1244

I'm not sure what this is in-telling but it seems that it is a secret the girls are keeping from Parris and could be an explanation as to what happened with Abigail and the Proctors. Goody Proctor did not died but because of the affair, Abigail wants John all for herself and would do anything such as stirring up problems to get him.

From this I assume Abigail is very driven and sinister which is a bad combination for someone in her position.
